Luis Váez de Torres, Spanish Explorer and 1st recorded European navigation in 1605/6 of the strait that separates the Australian mainland from the island of New Guinea, and which now bears his name (Torres Strait). His origins were from Galicia in Spain.
 
Some other interesting things you might not be aware of. In May 1606, VAEZ and 3 other Spanish ships reached a group of islands that would later be known as the New Hebrides and Vanuatu. They named the group La Austrialia del Espiritu Santo: "Austrialia of the Holy Spirit". A morphological derivation of Austrialia,  a reference to the Austrian origins of the House of Habsburg – to which the Spanish royal family belonged. The largest island in Vanuatu is still known officially by the abbreviated form, Espiritu Santo. Along with the ancient Latin name Terra Australis. Austrialia has often been regarded as one of the bases of the name of Australia.
 
As you can see there is a lot of history between the two countries, and this is where VAEZ Gin bears its name and influence. More influence comes from the Botanicals that include Eucalyptus and Kiwi fruit, which there is an abundance found in Galicia but their origins are from the lands downunder.

TASTING NOTES:
Color: Gin No. 0 London Dry is colorless.
Smell: Herbaceous aromas. Natural juniper berry aroma with citrus, cinnamon, licorice and angelica notes.
Flavor: It has a sweet flavor at the beginning with bitter notes of quinine. The entry into the mouth is pleasant with notes of quinine, balanced, citrus, juniper and botanical plants.

Spanish gin who predates the contemporary gin revolution by no small amount. Giró Gin has been around since 1930, and it has a much more illustrious history when compared to other gins around the world.
Juniper at first, a rich earthy middle with coriander, angelica, and then suddenly and boldly a really quite surprising finish.

Ginabelle gin is a product made by hand from the distillates of the Mirabel and Albariño fruit, along with five botanicals.
The tradition of the distillery began in 1877. The farms are located in Baixo Miño, on the border with Portugal, next to the mouth of the Miño river and within the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin.

At Osborne, the use of traditional methods of production is well established and has been faithfully followed for 8 generations. Veterano Reserva is distilled in copper pot stills in a slow and gentle process, this traditional method creates a distillate that retains all its intensity and aromatic richness.

Veterano Reserva matures in American oak casks, following the traditional Criaderas and Solera system. These barrels, which have previously been used for decades to produce the best Osborne Oloroso Sherry, lend the brandy its unique and distinctive character.

Veterano Reserva has intense aromas of vanilla, toasted caramel and cedar wood mingled with notes of dread apricot. Smooth and rich on the palate, with a sublime intensity that lingers on and on.

Elaboration starts with a careful selection of wines that we distil in our own distillery, founded in 1880, where we integrate the best from the past with modern techniques. Through special copper pot stills, we obtain different styles of rich eauxde-vie aged in American oak casks, previously seasoned with our premium Sherry wines. After 1 year aging through the unique and traditional Solera system, the eaux-de-vie reaches balance, complexity and mellow flavours, each with a
wonderfully long memory.

Bright mahogany color with luminous amber highlights. Intense aromas of vanilla, toasted caramel

Carlos I Imperial 15 Years XO Case

TASTING NOTES:

Color: The color is a deep red brown with some nuances. It looks like a very dull, elegant old rose, and degraded in some lighter shades.
Aroma: The aroma is indescribable, because it involves the perceiver in a cloud full of fruit touches. The background is a little sweet, so everything combined.
Taste: The taste is soft and strong at the same time, depends on whether you are starting to drink or not; however, the large end can perceive those intermingled. Perfect balance of acidity.
